Cliff was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He and his family moved to Michigan for his job in the oil and gas industry and later he owned and operated the Greenhouse Bar and Grill for 25 years. Cliff loved the outdoors where he enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, and taking in the scenery of a drive through the country.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Green; his children: Dennis Green and Jackie (Anthony) Henry; grandchildren: Tara (Brendan) Tidwell-Cullen, Sarah Tidwell, Nicole Green, Spencer Green, Jessica Green, and Caleb Henry; and great-grandchildren: Mariah and Renae.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Denise Tidwell, and a son Doug Green.
The funeral service for Clifford Green will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Glenn M. Wagner officiating, interment to follow at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Advantage or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
