Virginia Perkin

Age 91, of Holt, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014.  Virginia was born March 23, 1922 to the late Cliffton and Eva Robinson.

Virginia was a long-time member at Holt United Methodist Church. She retired from Michigan State University after working there for many years. Virginia loved traveling, especially vacationing on Lake Superior where she would go rock collecting on the beaches.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loraine Perkin and 3 sisters. She is survived by 5 daughters: Betty Burlew, Bonnie Rhodes, Beth (Michael) Mosko, Beverly (Rick) Kaiser, Shirley (John) Lorencen; 14 grandchildren; and 49 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holt United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Glenn Wagner officiating. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Friday from 6-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Youth Haven in memory of Virginia.
