Eugenia "Jean" Fowler

Holt, Michigan.

Born April 5, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan daughter of the late Victor and Pauline Martens passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at age 85.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Wallace Fowler; their daughter, Vallorie (Gary) Risdon; grandchildren, Robert (Wendy) Risdon, Ernest Laureys, Michele Laureys, Russell (Chris) Risdon, Steven (Kim) Laureys, and Randy (Jayne) Risdon; several great grandchildren; sister, Esther (Leland) Crum; sister-in-law, Helene Fowler along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Laureys; son-in-law, Ernie Laureys; grandson, Ryan John Risdon, and sister, Elaine Martens.

Jean was a longtime member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, she loved to Crochet and play Bingo.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. John A. Byers at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3815 S. Cedar St. in Lansing. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel on Tuesday, November 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
