Julia L. “Judy” Thompson

Age 75, of Lansing, MI, passed away November 19, 2013. She was born April 25, 1938, in Flint, MI, daughter of the late Colin and L. Irene Thompson.

Judy was a librarian for MSU and LCC and was a member of the American Business Women’s Association. She loved to garden and travel the world.

She is survived by her brother, James C. (Linda) Thompson, 3 nephews, Patrick, Paul (Jennifer) and Daniel Thompson; and great-niece, Krysten Sidel-Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
