Age 65, passed away September 6, 2013.  He was born December 21, 1947, in Lansing, to John and Rose (Baldino) Baker.  Dennis graduated from Everett High School, and was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy, teaching pilots.  After the military, he worked for General Motors for 42 years, retiring in 2008.

Surviving are:  his wife of 46 years, Victoria; 2 daughters, Lorie (Ed) Fortune of Boyne City, MI and Dian (Tim) Warren of Lansing; and 7 grandchildren, Haley, Lynzy, Preslye Jane, Ellie, Indiana, Iestyn and Bennet.  He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Everlee, as well as many family pets and wild critters.

Dennis’s family will be holding a private memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Dennis Baker.
