Amy Natalie Richard

Amy Natalie (Michael) Richard, of East Lansing, Michigan passed away peacefully at the age of 91, on July 23, 2013.  Amy was born March 25, 1922, in Dieterich, IL.  Amy was one of nine children born to Herschel and Amy Michael. She was a graduate of Champaign High School in Illinois and attended Lansing Business Institute. She worked as a secretary at MSU for many years, retiring in 1980.

Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Warren in 1972, her son, Warren “Michael” in 1963, her parents and seven siblings. Amy is survived by her sister, Mary Marcia Clements and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Evergreen Cemetery.  There will be visitation at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 S. Cochran, Charlotte, MI 48813, or to East Lansing High School, 509 Burcham Dr., East Lansing, MI 48823, in memory of Amy Natalie Richard.
