Albert Nucich

Lansing, Michigan.

Age 85 passed away June 9, 2013 after a dauntless battle with Leukemia. He was born August 13, 1927 in Hiawatha, Utah to John and Mary Nucich.

Albert was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps. He owned and operated Century Travel Trailers in Webberville for many years and later worked at the Edgewood Target Store for 18 years. Albert was a very skilled craftsman, but his greatest love was for his family.

He is survived by his loving children: Jean Nucich, Jan Nucich, Jeanette (Mike) Ongena, Greg (Teresa) Nucich, Jennifer (Russ) Cashmore, and Stephan (Vicki) Nucich; 14 loving grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; loving sisters: Rose Bartlett, Alice Nucich; and many other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 50 years Joan; 4 sisters and 1 brother.

There will be a private service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the MSU Breslin Cancer Center at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

I’m so sorry for your loss, but know that he is in a better place and now able to do all the things he loves so much without pain. Prayers are with you and your family.
