Helen L. Hanley

Age 91, of Lansing, passed away, June 4, 2013 in Lansing. She was born June 22, 1921 in Elk Rapids, Michigan to Walter and Laura (Easley) McLain.

In August 1944 Helen married her loving husband Earl Hanley and he survives; also surviving are two sisters: Eugenia Aldridge and Alice Clark; and nieces and cousins.

Helen worked for 25 years as a grocery store cashier; was an active member in her neighborhood club; and dearly loved her dog Snowflake.

The funeral for Helen Hanley will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
