Age 85, of Lansing, MI, passed away March 29, 2013. She was born June 1, 1927, in Gardiner, ME, to the late Alzo and Myrtle Trafton. Lois played piano professionally and was frequently requested to perform at many local functions.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Sandra) and Gary (Gail) Rogers; grandson, Andrew (Michelle) Rogers; niece, Marilynn Trafton; and childhood friend still living in Maine, Zerilla Greenleaf. She was preceded in death by husband Harold E. Rogers and brother Lawrence Trafton.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013, at Deepdale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care in Charlotte, MI.

    Farewell lovely lady. Rest in peace. No need for sadness when we know you have seen the face of God! Alzo and Myrtle and Lawrence and Claire were an important part of the history of the “Cox kids”.
